How do I get my ebook?

It's downloaded from the internet onto your computer. Click on one of the purchase buttons. This takes you to Secure-eBook's purchase page. Enter your correct info (correct email address is particularly important as the download link and unique activation code will later be emailed to the address given) and click to submit the request to purchase. The next page will be for PayPal where you can pay with either a PayPal account, or your own Visa or Mastercard. Once the payment is confirmed, the Secure-eBook system will generate a temporary unique download link which will be emailed to you. You have 24 hours to use this link to download The Wedstyle Guide to your computer. The email also contains the activation code you'll need to unlock your copy.

The downloaded file will be in ZIP format (a compressed .EXE file.) When you've run this application and unlocked your eBook, it will be in PDF format. Please note the extra requirements required to use this ebook on Mac.

Can I use the ebook on a Mac?

Only if you have third-party software like Parallels or VMware Fusion installed with Windows, or Codeweavers Crossover for Mac (doesn't require Windows). The package we use to secure our eBooks creates an .EXE file. Unfortunately .EXE files will not run on Macs, unless your Mac has been specially configured to run with the above software. The 8 page preview pdf and Wedding Fun for Kids! pdf are both Mac-compatible and can be downloaded for viewing without additional software.

So how do I install on my Mac then?

1. Download with the Mac OS X.

2. Drag the downloaded file The+Wedstyle+Guide.exe from the Mac Download folder to the PC Desktop (VMWare Fusion or Parallels for Mac).

3. Acrobat Reader 9 needs to have “Allow PDF in browser” enabled in setup/options. Download from Adobe.com if necessary.

4. Double click the .exe file once it has copied across.

5. Enter the authentication key via top left menu under “ebook”.

Can I print these ebooks?

The Wedstyle Guide cannot be printed; the size of the book and the many hyperlinks mean that it is best read on screen. Wedding Fun for Kids! is print-enabled, in fact, in it you'll find handy instructions for double-sided printing.

How big are the downloads?

The Wedstyle Guide is 6MB and the sample 8 page download is 650KB. Wedding Fun for Kids! is 1.9MB. The Wedstyle Guide should take approximately 30 seconds to download on a standard 1.5Mbps connection. 

What's the guarantee?

If you are unhappy with The Wedstyle Guide and ask for a refund within a couple of days of purchase your full purchase amount will be refunded and your copy will be deactivated.

Can I buy it from a public computer?

The copy of The Wedstyle Guide that you purchase is kept on the computer it was downloaded to – so it would not be advisable to purchase The Wedstyle Guide on a public library computer for example. It's best to purchase The Wedstyle Guide on the computer where you do most of your wedding planning. Note that the verification process may require you to be connected to the internet from time to time to unlock the whole document.

How do I read the ebook?

You'll need Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to read the ebook.

What if I don't have a PayPal account?

That's not a problem – Paypal will give you the option to pay with Visa or Mastercard, without having to set up a Paypal account.

What if I don't have a credit card?

If you set up a Paypal account, they give you the option to nominate a debit account.

Why do I sometimes get asked to verify my copy of The Wedstyle Guide?

The security used on The Wedstyle Guide is provided by Novisoft's Ebook-secure service and prevents illegal downloads – it's just checking in that everything's AOK.

When I run the .EXE file, I get an Internet Explorer security message which says "The publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you want to install this software?"

This message is a normal part of the installation process. Click "Install" to allow the installation to proceed.
